Our Chemistry platform provides expertise and staff training in various aspects of organic chemistry to scientists across the Norwich Research Park, and commercial partners.

The team, in our state-of-the-art laboratory can offer;

  • Dionex Ultimate 3000 HPLC, analytical or semi-preparative, equipped with UV/vis or charged aerosol detectors
  • Thermo Dionex Ultimate 3000 HPLC, preparative, with UV/vis
  • Thermo Dionex ICS-5000 equipped with pulsed amperometric detector (PAD) for carbohydrate analysis by High-Performance Anion-Exchange chromatography with Pulsed Amperometric Detection (HPAE-PAD)
  • Thermo Dionex ICS-3000 Ion Chromatography with UV/vis
  • Advion Expression Compact Mass Spectrometer with ESI or APCI ionisation sources
  • Perkin Elmer Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR) spectrometer with Attenuated Total Reflection (ATR) attachment
