Jake Richardson
Platform Manager BioimagingJake is the Bioimaging facility manager at the John Innes Centre.
He specialises in transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and provides expert support to users of both the TEM and scanning electron microscopes (SEM) in the facility. With broad knowledge in biological sample preparation and imaging techniques, Jake’s expertise includes methods such as negative staining, resin embedding, serial block-face scanning electron microscopy (SBFSEM), tomography, and single-particle analysis
