Jake Richardson

Jake specialises in transmission electron microscopy and provides support to users of both the transmission electron microscope (TEM) and the scanning electron microscopes (SEM) located at the Bioimaging facility.

Jake has a broad knowledge on the preparation and imaging techniques used for biological samples including negative staining, resin embedding, serial block-face scanning electron microscopy (SBFSEM) preparation, tomography, single-particle analysis, and cryo-EM.
