Rajesh’s current research is focused on the combinatorial reconstitution of medicinally important triterpenoid pathways.

Using the Golden Gate assembly method, he is developing stable transgenic Nicotiana benthamiana plants optimised for supply of triterpenoid pathway precursors to enable bio-production of high value target compounds.
