Support Specialist Head of Media and Content
Hannah is the head of media and content within the Communications and Engagement team at the John Innes Centre (JIC).
Working closely with colleagues across JIC, the content team works strategically to ensure the institute and its researchers are supported, and their reputation and impact are amplified.
Leading the development and delivery of key proactive communications campaigns, Hannah and her colleagues are passionate about promoting the Institute’s value to key stakeholders, as well as helping to attract new audiences, collaborators, partners and donors.
The team sources and develops engaging content, showcasing new research announcements and life at the institute via multiple channels, including press releases, blogs, social media, and ‘Advances’, the institute’s flagship bi-annual magazine.
Hannah’s previous experience includes local, regional and national communications and engagement roles in the NHS.
