This year’s meeting will be hosted by the John Innes Centre.
Monogram 2018 will be on Tuesday 24 and Thursday 26 April.
This meeting provides a unique opportunity for commercial scientists and plant breeders to interact with academic researchers and be updated on state-of-the-art research outcomes within the UK cereal and grass community.
The programme will include talks from scientists of diverse disciplines, with an important aim being to link academic research with industry.
The Monogram network consists of UK-based researchers with an interest in small grain cereal and grass research.
GARNet will again be supporting the Monogram community by providing a number of £200 grants to support the travel and accommodation of early career researchers whose research bridges the divide between model organisms and crops.
These grants are available to anyone who is within 5 years of graduating their PhD and who have submitted an abstract by the deadline.
If you wish to be considered for a travel grant then please additionally also email your abstract to the GARNet Coordinator Geraint Parry.
We will then assess the applications and inform the successful applicants soon after the abstract submission deadline.
