We think one of the best ways to enthuse young people about plant and microbial science is to get them into the lab and give them the chance to meet our fantastic researchers to hear about the cutting-edge work they do.
We run a range of work experience programmes to provide opportunities for young people to experience life in the lab, these include Find my Future, Year 10 Science Camp and the International Undergraduate Summer School.
If these options are not suitable, you are encouraged to explore the research pages, news stories and research group pages and if there is a particular area that you find interesting, you are advised to contact the relevant department administrator directly.
There are other opportunities to experience and explore the science that the John Innes Centre explores such as the Youth STEMM Award, the SAW trust, and through our annual programme of events and activities.
