Sara Pinto

Sara’s work focuses on understanding the influence of DNA content for cell size control. Specifically, she uses Arabidopsis thaliana with different ploidies to assess how the stomatal lineage develops in the context of altered DNA monitor control.

Technically, Sara’s work involves the development of transgenic lines, time course live imaging experiments using confocal microscopy, followed by image analysis (which relies on python and fiji).
