Dr Qun Liu

Qun is currently working on the interaction between the sap-sucking aphids and their plant hosts.

She has particular interests in exploring the mechanism on how aphids modulate plant processes and colonise plants.

Qun focuses on functional characterisation of aphid effectors that secreted to host plants during feeding.

She is now studying the mechanism how these effectors modulate plant process to bring benefits to aphids.
