Norwich Bioscience Institutes: Accessible Science Event

The Norwich Bioscience Institutes (NBI): Accessible Science Event will take place on Tuesday 10th October from 10am – 12pm and 2pm – 3:15pm.

Hear from world-leading researchers and support staff from four NBI Institutes in a series of seminars and flash-talks, covering subjects including plant and microbial science and diseases, genetics, human health and the vast array of diverse careers in science. These talks are designed to be understandable and accessible to all, especially suited to A-level science students and anyone interested in science.

Where will the event take place?

The Accessible Science Event will be held at the John Innes Centre (JIC) Conference Centre.

However, A-level science classes and schools are invited to join online.

 

Who will the keynote speaker be?

Our keynote speaker is Prof Ben Garrod, Evolutionary Biology and Science Engagement at the University of East Anglia – an academic, conservationist, broadcaster and author. Visit www.bengarrod.co.uk to find out more
