Maths in the field

Kirsty is an applied statistician working at Rothamsted Research.

From a young age she was always fascinated by maths and after a Maths degree and statistics PhD she discovered the power that statistics has to unravel scientific secrets.

Her role at Rothamsted is varied and she spender her time helping understanding the data behind a wide range of biological and agricultural applications, including molecular cell biology, field experiments and observational landscape studies.
