Xinyu Zhang

Xinyu is working as part of the Sablowski group and exploring the regulation of plant cell size coupled to DNA Content.

Xinyu is particularly interested in how the regulation of cell size is linked to cell fate decisions during plant development and will use specific tissue with well-defined cell fate transitions, which are genetically very well characterized to figure out the mechanism.
