Joshua Williams

Joshua is currently working as part of Professor Mark Banfield’s group.

His PhD is focused around using machine learning to write software which will learn to identify and score infection lesions on plant leaves (obtained from images collected during studies conducted on pathogen infections) in a standardised manner, reducing both time spent scoring images as well as individual researcher scoring bias.
