Postgraduate ResearcherGiulia works with the model legume plant Medicago truncatula to investigate the role of calcium signalling in root endosymbiosis.
She hopes that her studies will contribute to decipher the molecular mechanisms controlling the symbiotic calcium signals, and to help enhance the symbiotic interaction for increase crop productivity.
