Dr Andrew Tuckey

Andrew’s current research looks into the signalling molecules in plants that get released into the apoplast in response to stress.

The aim of this research is to understand the identity of these molecules, what physical traits regulate their transmission throughout the plant, how they are released from plant cells, and most importantly, how they interact with other signalling molecules to produce complex responses to stress.
