Science is an international endeavour
The John Innes Centre is an international centre.
Our scientific success is built on our international workforce, our international collaborations and our international outlook.
The very best science has, for centuries, relied upon the free exchange of ideas and people.
The John Innes Centre’s international approach will not change as a result of yesterday’s referendum in the UK.
Professor Dale Sanders said: “We remain committed to our policy of recruiting and retaining the brightest minds from around the world. We remain committed to collaborating with the most excellent research institutes globally, including those in Europe, and we remain passionate about the impact of our science on the most pressing global challenges of our time.”
The John Innes Centre respects the democratic wishes of the British electorate as expressed in yesterday’s referendum and will work with the UK Government to ensure that the result can be translated into the best outcome for science.
