Zhenglin Wang

Currently, Zhenglin is working on two different but related projects. One is to understand how embryos transition through stages: non-uniform isotropic or non-uniform anisotropic specified growth. The other is to understand what controls the root cell division plane.

To answer these two questions, Zhenglin is using a combination of imaging and computational programming to observe and model changes in cell shape before and after dividing in Arabidopsis.
