Thom Brennan

Thom is directly responsible for managing the Conference Centre as a large Seminar venue for daily usage by the John Innes Centre, The Sainsbury Laboratory and the wider Norwich Bioscience Institute community.

When not being used by “Science” the venue is available for hire by external fee paying organisations and the funds from this side of the business are used to finance the maintenance of and improvements to the venue.

Thom manages a team of Duty Managers, Audio Visual (AV) Technicians as well as supervising the work of the Janitorial and Car Parking Marshaling teams in and around the venue.

He is able to do all of this with the help of his Assistant Manager, Mark Sharp and is also the Designated Premises Supervisor for the Conference Centre.
