Supakan’s research aim to explore close-rotation microbiome dysbiosis in legumes.

The research will compare the root exudate profiles, soil/rhizosphere microbiomes and distribution of key microbial genotypes between different legume species.

It is hoped that the findings will then be used to probe the underlying mechanisms that control legume rhizosphere colonisation, and microbiome dysbiosis in annual, perennial, and wild legumes.
