Ethne Clark

Ethne’s role involves promoting, monitoring, and supporting sustainability at the John Innes Centre.

She developed the JIC Sustainability Strategy to map and address the institute’s environmental impacts, and provide the framework for monitoring and improving sustainability at the institute.

Ethne runs the sustainability engagement scheme (Green Impact) across the institutes at NBI. This supports staff and students in taking part in sustainability actions and projects in the workplace. As well as organising sustainability activities and communications, she liaises with individuals across and beyond the institute to embed best practice.
