Azka Noureen

Azka is currently working in Professor Wendy Harwood’s group following completing a PhD research project in Plant Biochemistry to develop immunity against Potato Virus Y through genome editing, which involved exploiting CRISPR/Cas9 and Cas13 systems. Azka is interested in improving food crops through modern and innovative techniques.
