Azam Lashkari

Postdoctoral Scientist

Azam is interested in mathematical modelling and integrating molecular biology data into crop systems biology to understand the impact of climate variability on crop growth and production. As a result, for her current project she is learning about the molecular mechanism of circadian clock and the role of environmental signals such as light and temperature on plants clock.

Previously, Azam worked at CIMMYT-China Joint Research Centre on harnessing transitional research in wheat for climate resilience.
