Applications are invited for an Alumni Relations Officer.
The John Innes Centre is an independent, international centre of excellence in plant science, genetics and microbiology.
The Alumni Relations Officer will join the Communications and Engagement Team and help to develop an alumni plan and create an alumni resource that will provide a range of benefits across the John Innes Centre.
The successful candidate will complete tasks under guidance and independently to scope an alumni resource and implement a system which is fit for purpose. The role may also include liaising with external companies to ensure the successful delivery of the projects.
The ideal candidate
Candidates should be educated to degree level or possess equivalent relevant experience. Experience of process and system review and development is essential, as are strong project management skills. Experience of working within an academic environment or communications team is desirable.
Salary on appointment will be within the range £24,815 to £30,270 per annum depending on qualifications and experience. This is a fulltime post for a period of 12 months in the first instance.
