Research group leaders who are at the early stages of their careers are recruited to a Tenure-track Project Leader position, as part of the Junior Faculty at JIC.
Tenure-track project leaders receive mentoring and training to support their career development. This training includes Leadership and management support, mentoring training, and PhD supervisor training.
Formal assessment takes place at the mid-point and end of the tenure-track process, and project leaders who successfully meet the criteria will be awarded tenure.
