The John Innes Centre constantly recruits postdoctoral researchers to its science programme and offers opportunities for postdoctoral research across all departments and research areas.
Whilst at JIC, postdoctoral researchers are given the opportunity to benefit from a three year training framework, that supports development in careers both in and around science.
Training opportunities include Grant Writing workshops, presentation skills and team leader training, as well as communications courses and mentoring programmes.
This training framework is individually tailored to all postdoctoral researchers. It provides individual support for those looking to continue a career in science, but also transferable skills for those looking to continue their career outside of academia.
