Genomic services

The John Innes Centre has a long history of providing efficient crop transformation resources to the research community, for wheat, barley and Brassica.

We are now able to provide targeted gene knockouts using RNA-guided Cas9 in addition to other transformation resources.

We also offer a bespoke Reverse Genetics service on our population of mutagenized model and crop species, in which we can investigate and pick the optimum region to TILL, design primers, carry out TILLING and return a list of mutations.
