Dr Paige Panter

Postdoctoral Scientist Genes in the Environment

Plants contain an endogenous circadian clock that allows them to anticipate the cycles of the natural environment.

Paige is using gene expression analysis in Arabidopsis, both in the laboratory and in natural conditions, to elucidate the integration of circadian and environmental signals.

She is particularly interested in these processes in the context of plant adaptation to short- and long-term temperature fluctuations.
