Jakob Goldshaw

Jake works in the Janneke Balk group as part of a UK-CGIAR funded project “Leveraging genetic innovations for accelerating breeding of Climate resilient and nutritious crops.”

His responsibilities range from screening for high iron wheat lines to identifying gene edits in TaHRZ genes, encoding a negative regulator of iron accumulation.
