Postdoctoral Scientist Marie Curie Individual Fellowship

Guy’s project aims to investigate new triterpene metabolic pathways in the Poaceae (grasses) family, which includes the cereal crops.

Triterpenes are a large class of compounds which play important roles in plants, including providing protection against pests and disease.

Exploring new triterpene metabolism in the grasses may lead to discovery of novel compounds with potential involvement in plant protection against biotic stress.
