The main area of Yulia’s research interests is plant viruses, their application for the production of heterologous proteins and virus-like particles in plants, for their potential use as candidate vaccines or for structural studies using Cryo-EM in collaboration with structural biologists.
Yulia is also interested in studying virus assembly, encapsidation and movement mechanisms.
