Cyrielle’s research interests are in plant-microbe interactions, with a focus on pathogens of major cereal crops.
Her work aims to understand interactions between plant responses to biotrophic and necrotrophic pathogens. She is currently investigating trade-offs between resistance to rusts and wheat blast in hexaploid wheat.
Cyrielle is supported by a Marie Curie Early Stage Researcher Fellowship and a John Innes Centre International Scholarship.
