I am a post-doctoral fellow at the John Innes centre in Norwich. Working with Professor Martin Howard, I study biological systems through theoretical and numerical analysis.
My work currently focuses on positioning and pattern formation within developing systems.
I completed my doctorate in October 2007 (based in the condensed matter sub-department of Theoretical Physics at the University of Oxford) working with Professor John Chalker on highly frustrated magnetic systems.
Download my D. Phil. Thesis on "Phase Transitions in Geometrically Frustrated Antiferromagnets".
My D.Phil. was funded by a grant from EPSRC and I am now supported by the BBSRC
