I am a post-doctoral fellow at the John Innes centre in Norwich. Working with Professor Martin Howard, I study biological systems through theoretical and numerical analysis.
My work currently focuses on two areas: positioning and pattern formation within developing systems; and analysis of subcellular protein gradients.
I completed my doctorate in October 2007 (based in the condensed matter sub-department of Theoretical Physics at the University of Oxford) working with Professor John Chalker on highly frustrated magnetic systems.
My D.Phil. was funded by a grant from EPSRC and I am now supported by the BBSRC .
