Summary of Interests
In the
Østergaard
lab, we are interested in genetic and hormonal regulation of
fruit development in Brassica (oilseed rape) as well
as in Arabidopsis (see
Research Interests for more
details). As part of establishing B. rapa as a model
species for Brassica biology and crop improvement, we
have generated resources such as a B. rapa TILLING
population and protocols for B. rapa transformation.
