Research interests

  • The development of conventional and novel methods of genetic analysis and their application to understand the genetic control of agronomic characters in crop plants, particularly cereals, and their application in crop improvement programmes.
  • The development and application of biotechnologies for cereal improvement, particularly molecular maps, doubled haploid methods and transformation systems.
