Research interests

In the Østergaard lab, we use genetic and molecular approaches to study fruit development in Brassica (oilseed rape) as well as in Arabidopsis (see Research Interests for more details).

At JIC, we have access to a wealth of germplasms and genomics resources in both organisms. Please visit the websites of Ian Bancroft and Martin Trick for details on the current status of Brassica genomics and development of Brassica bioinformatics tools.
