Collections

The Collections managed by the GRU were developed to ensure that germplasm resources were conserved in the long term and made available for research and crop improvement. They are active collections that continue to underpin a range of ongoing research projects both internal and external to JIC.

The documentation for some goes back many decades and is in various states of being made available on-line. Current data availability on holdings can be found under the details of the particular collection.
