Garden Soaps - intimacy, deceit and betrayal in the plant world.

The relationships between plants and the pests and diseases that attack them are as complex as those in any TV soap. Physical and chemical barriers (including natural soaps), internal alarm systems, unlikely partnerships and suicide are part of the plant’s defence against the forced entry, deceit and subversion used by pests and diseases.

You can find more information on the science of plant resistance to pests and diseases on the science pages of the JIC website.
