Centenary merchandise
To commemorate the John Innes Centenary and 100 years of genetics research, we commissioned / produced a science image calendar (desktop or slimline); a calendar produced by local artist, Leonie Woolhouse, presenting a pictorial history of John Innes; a centenary mug; a John Innes rose in association with Beales Roses, Attlebrough, Norfolk, UK; and John Innes 100, a 5.9% India Pale Ale produced in association with Thornbridge Brewery, Derbyshire, UK, using local malting barley in the style of the 1910s.
Calendars (£5)
Three centenary calendars are available, each comes wrapped with an envelope for posting.
- One A4 Calendar of watercolours depicting the science of some of our scientists and areas of research with commentary by our archivist, Sarah Wilmott, and local artist, Leonie Woolhouse, widow of former Director, Harold Woolhouse.

- Two other Calendars are of stunning science images, one in the form of a desk top calendar and the other in a format where the images can be detached and used as postcards.
