Please note: Applicants who have applied for the rotation PhD programme within the last six months should not re-apply.

1 Entry Requirements

Applicants should fulfil the normal entry requirements for PhD registration at the University of East Anglia (UEA). These can be read on the application guidance form which is attached to the 'application pack' that can be downloaded via the link below.

2 The Application Pack

Please download an application pack containing:

1. Application Guidelines - Please read carefully (Contains information regarding funding, eligibility and requirements for personal statement and research proposal etc)
2. Application Form - To be completed and returned to the NRP Graduate Studies Office
3. Reference Form - To be forwarded to your 2 referees for completion and returned directly to NRP Graduate Studies Office
4. English Proficiency Guidelines - Details of English Language Requirements for candidates whose first language is not English

Important: Please ensure all sections of the application form are completed.

3 The Research Proposal

The Application guidelines give details of the type of research proposal we require with your application as this depends on which programme you are applying for and whether you are applying for a funded studentship (please note Research Proposals do not need to be included in applications for advertised projects).

4 Financial Guarantee form

If you know how you will fund your studies at this stage (e.g. self-funded, scholarship) please complete the financial guarantee form. Alternatively we will require completion of this form before you are formally admitted on to your course. Students applying for a funded studentship or rotation scholarship need not complete a financial guarantee form unless they have alternative funding.
