JIC has established a strong in-house capability in a wide range of key Platform Technologies. These technologies typically originated in science departments, in response to research needs, but have been expanded to provide all JIC scientists with access to high throughput and other demanding technologies needed to pursue their scientific programmes.

The facilities are accessible to all of the Norwich Research Park partners and in some cases have been developed by joint investment from them. They can also be accessed by organisations external to the Norwich Research Park where spare capacity exists.
