Tenure-track
Tenure-track Project Leader appointments are usually for six years.
While on tenure-track, Project Leaders are mentored in career progression and undertake additional training to support their continued development.
As Junior Faculty they are encouraged to participate in development of their management skills, including representation at the Centre’s Management Board.
They undergo formal assessment at the mid point and towards the end of their tenure-track process on their future research plans and scientific outputs against clear criteria by a senior panel of external and JIC scientists.
Tenure-track Project Leaders who successfully meet all the criteria will be awarded tenure.
