JIC Corporate Statement on Dealing with Allegations of Scientific Malpractice

JIC expects staff, contractors and visitors to adhere to the highest standards of integrity when engaged in research and business activities on behalf of the Centre.

JIC has published statements on its expectations and procedures with regard to Safeguarding Good Scientific Practice and Alleged Wrongdoing.

Allegations of scientific malpractice are, fortunately, rare but JIC takes them very seriously as undermining its responsibility to its funders, the public and the scientific community.

Allegations will be dealt with according to the appropriate section in the BBSRC Staff Code, Policy and Procedure for Inquiring into Allegations of Scientific Malpractice.
